Welcome to Andover Youth Lacrosse!

Andover Youth Lacrosse (AYL) is the lacrosse program for the town of Andover, MA. We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) community-based organization serving boys and girls in grades K through 8. AYL boys and girls teams are members of the Mass Youth Lax (MYL) League.

AYL is dedicated to fostering a positive experience, based in lacrosse, for the players and parents of Andover. We believe that regardless of initial skill level, all players should have the opportunity to learn and play the game of lacrosse. We strive to create a highly supportive environment where all players feel valuable to the team and individually confident as a result of their teamwork, camaraderie, and effort.

Our programs are designed with a focus on youth development; providing players an opportunity to interact with their peers and adults in a positive and encouraging environment. As an organization, AYL takes pride in growing the game of lacrosse in our town and throughout the Merrimack Valley. We strive to enhance our players’ love of the game. Our Board Members, Coaches, and Administrators have enjoyed watching and playing the sport of lacrosse for countless years. It has brought us friendships, memories, and a lifelong passion and dedication to passing along this great sport to future generations.

Registration Notes

Refund Policy

Full refund until March 2, 2023.

After March 2, 2023, registration fee refund less $100 administrative fees (i.e. MYL team registration and insurance fees, uniforms, preseason clinics, Andover field rental fees, indoor practice rental fees, field equipment)

After April 2, 2023 - No refunds. The lacrosse season has started and AYL has already incurred its seasonal operating costs.

Wait Lists

We use wait lists to maintain optimal roster sizes. If you encounter a wait list please add your child's name to the list. This is very common. As soon as we have enough players we will open another team.

Upcoming Events

Optional Indoor Practice Starting 1/11 for Registered Players!

We are excited to announce we are beginning optional indoor practices in the AHS Field House to help our players better prepare for the season! These will be full equipment practices targeting stick skills, footwork, and game readiness. See below for the January schedule.

WEDS 2/1, 7-8 PM: Grades 1-4 GIRLS

WEDS 2/1, 8-9PM: Grades 5-8 GIRLS

WEDS 2/8, 7-8PM: Grades 5/6 BOYS

WEDS 2/8, 8-9PM: Grades 7/8 BOYS
